Hello

My name is Elaine, I have lived most of my life between Ireland and Australia.
I trained as a General Nurse in England, and Midwife in Perth during the 80s, returned to Ireland for most of the 90s. Purchased a house in Scarborough at the end of the 90s, travelled doing country placements and met my ex husband and had my daughter, who is now 19 years old. She has had dogs all her life, we had them on our property in Derby, WA and then when she was 2, myself and her moved back to our house in Scarborough and got our gorgeous natured Cocker Spaniel, Charlie, who was 4 months old at the time. He came back with us to Ireland in 2016, where he sadly died in 2019 at 13 years old. I worked in King Edward’s Hospital for those 10 years.
We now have a Bichon Frise, he was 2 years old, a rescue, and now is 5 years old. He is being fostered by a lovely family with 2 dogs, Shetland ponies and a cat for 6 months whilst we travel back to Perth to visit friends and family.
We love animals and had a variety whilst my daughter was growing up! Mice, Guinea pigs etc!!
I will be working for an agency whilst we are in Australia, my daughter is not sure if she will be working, she maybe visiting her father in Derby, WA.
I am leaving my own house and dog to be looked after in Ireland so I do realise the importance of caring for other people’s property and animals. It would be a privilege to do so. Read more...
